Makayla finally started movin' last weekend. She is scooting backwards . This girl scoots backwards to get where she wants to be and then scoots around in a circle to get what she wants (like her photo album). She is also showing much more interest in reaching toys.
Makayla just has some really pretty clothes if I do say so myself! She just looks so good in bright colors. This is the dress that she wore in her 6 month photos. I just can't get enough of it!
Now that Makayla is completely thrush free she gets to have all of her toys back! YEA!
Makayla had her shots last Monday. Here are her battle wounds.

Just like a grown up. I guess that there is a magnet inside a woman's mouth that just attracts sunglasses.
These are Makayla's first shoes. She has had slippers before, but these are officially her first pair of shoes. These days Makayla wants to stand up all the time. She will grab our hands to pull herself up to stand. She is not quite ready for us to let go yet. We have tried to let her stand holding on to furniture, but she is just not quite strong enough yet. I think that she is most comfortable holding on to our fingers for balance.
