Yucky Day

Today was a really yucky day. It was rainy most of the day, but it did snow a little this morning. They had to call of the psychiatrist's clinic today at our office, so he could get back to Jonesboro before the roads got too slick.

Lost starts back tonight. I am going to watch it on TIVO later. I want to watch it, but I am so tired of the way that it drags on and on.

Makayla had a much better day at daycare today. She has been wanting to sleep a lot at daycare, but she finally decided to stay awake today. i also asked her teachers to attempt to keep her awake as much as they could. She ate 13 oz of milk at daycare today.

Here are some pictures of her laying around tonight. I am also posting a picture of her name that we hung on her wall. I painted them pink, but my momma put polka dots and stuff on the letters. The A's all have TooToos on them because her room is decorated in Ballerina Teddy Bears.

Tummy Time!

This is a picture of Makayla having her tummy time. She actually enjoyed it tonight. She rolled over again . Her neck is getting strong. I think that she will do fine in her pictures on Friday. She also played under her play gym tonight.

She has not been sleeping well at night. She was sick a couple of weeks ago, and she has not been able to get back on her schedule. She sleeps a lot at daycare, so I am sure that is part of the problem. They try to wake her up to feed her and change her diaper when she sleeps for a really long time.

BATHTIME!

Today was Makayla's bath day. Montana wanted to help tonight.

This is still a work in progress. I hope that you all enjoy it. I really am looking forward to being able to keep in touch and share pictures of Makayla! I plan to update as often as I can, but I will definitely update it once a week.

I wish I had done this sooner!

I am so glad to be able to keep everyone updated on Makayla and her development.

Makayla started her 4th week at daycare today. She is going to Lynny Penny's child development center. It is in a very convenient location and also has a really good reputation. We are very pleased with the quality of care that Makayla receives there. Her teachers all talk about how sweet she is. On Friday, Her teacher, Ms. Aprill, told me that she was a big "Ham" because she smiled so much. We are really lucky to have found such a good childcare facility. I am feeling really good about it so far. The teachers are all wonderful and willing to do anything I have asked them to do for Makayla. They really seem to care about the kids. She is in the nursery there with 2 other babies from our church, Presley and Luke, so they will be in daycare and sunday school together. We are friends with their parents which is also good.

Makayla does smile a lot. She is a very happy baby most of the time. She has also rolled over a few times. She rolls really fast and is always happy to be off her tummy! She hates her tummy time. She is becoming really strong. She holds her head up really well. She is having her 3 month pictures taken in NLR on Friday. The photographer wants her to be able to lay on her tummy and look up at the camera, so we have really been practicing that and smiling for the camera.
