Halloween Fun!
This was Makayla's first Halloween! We had so much fun. I wanted to keep her home because I was off work because it is Friday and today was my induction day, but I went ahead and sent Makayla to daycare so she could enjoy her Halloween party. It looks like she did! I picked her up at about 11:30 and took her to the dr. to dind out that we are going to get tubes because she still has a ring of puss in her ear. We meet with the ENT on Wednesday hopefully to discuss the tubes. After that we went to Wal-mart to buy more candy for Nathan. Not for him really, but he needed candy for the trick or treating at work. This afternoon Makayla took me with her to trick or treat at her dad's office. It was nice to be able to show her off to new people for a change. She came home and had her usual (raviolli and green beans), bathed, and visited with her friend luke who came over for a while. We really wanted to go to the fall festival at church but decided against it because of her ear infection. It would not have been a good choice to have her out cool wind with her ear problems.
Overall the days was a huge success!
Revisiting...solids
Started solids on carrots at 4 months
Started feeding herself around 6 months (rice rusks...baby mum mums)

And in the present...She does not love meat, but she does love Ravioli.
Makayla has always been a great eater. I breastfed her until 3 weeks ago, but she is doing fine with the transition. Saturday was her first day without the bottle, so we are a bottle free house. We are so proud of her.

Have I mentioned that our house is totally bottle free? I am serious no bottles around here. No bottles allowed. She has not had one in 6 days. She doesn't even seem to miss them.

Be excited...Be very excited!
I have tons of posts planned for this week in honor of Makayla's approaching birthday. The posts are going to be so awesome. I hope that you enjoy them. It is always nice to remember memories. Does that make any sense? Oh well! I am excited to see my many comments that I am sure this will receive because the upcoming posts really are that good. You will laugh. You will cry. Mostly I hope that you laugh, but I cried.
Can I just tell you...
How happy I am to finally have time to blog again. I am still doing weight watchers. You can check out my progress on my WW blog. There is a link on the sidebar. Makayla has just been so active recently. It is just hard to find time to do extra things like this. I promise you that you will never go without pictures again. Not for more than a week anyway.
To get caught up...
I will be posting new pics of Makayla for those of you who primarily check this blog to see updated pics of our precious little one. For the rest of you...well I don't know because I am going to be posting a month worth of pics over the next 2 days. Starting Monday I will be taking a retrospective glance over some of our Makayla's most memorable moments in honor of her approaching first birthday.
Well let's get this chaos started because I am just warning you that these pics are a jumbled mess of randomness.
Way to early for picturespondering the mystery that is Montana
She adores the windows
Just another silly face
